I am a designer, storyteller, educator, researcher and maker-of-things. Currently I work as founder of Super Curious, a social impact design firm that specializes in digital product design and human-centered-design workshop facilitation. Previously, I ran a team of anthropologists, designers and researchers as the Director of Design Research at Wondros, a creative agency focused on in impact work around complex health challenges. As an educator, I have designed workshops for OpenIDEO, guest lectured at UC Berkeley Haas on ‘Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs,’ Art Center on ‘Design Research’, and have taught the immersive and part time User Experience Design course at General Assembly. And as a facilitator, I run human-centered design workshops about global challenges such as education, circular design and dementia for the OpenIDEO Los Angeles Chapter of 300+ professionals. Prior to design; I worked as a photojournalist at the Oakland Tribune and draws upon this and 9+ years of experience working at international tech startups to my work.
